Debate Issue : Should THAAD be deployed in South Korea?

Even with the high criticism and economic isolation, North Korea has proceeded 5 nuclear weapon tests hoping to give a strong impression to the international society. Considering these actions, South Korean government came up with a conclusion that a new kind of defense system would be required to protect the national security and stability. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) was brought up as an ideal defense system to protect South Korea from missile weapons. But the voice of criticism soon appeared, worrying that deployment of THAAD would create diplomatic friction with China and bring economic damage. Should THAAD be deployed in South Korea?
