"We, Baeksin English Debate Club aim to discuss on our modern day issues and to develop our English skill along with the debating skills. By debating various global issues, (environment, world politics, human rights etc) we are looking forward to understanding our world much more.

Club President's Message

Welcome to the official page of Baeksin English Debate Club

Baeksin English Debate Club is a club which strives to provide unique and exciting English-communicating experience to the club members. Though English is in a regular middle school curriculum, South Korea is an inadequate environment for the students to use and develop English conversation skills and research skills in real life. Thus, the role of BEDC is to increase students' interest in English and to give opportunity to use English in their real lives. Second objective of BEDC is to understand our society in various fields. BEDC will get to encounter many sides of our world such as politics, environmental problems, human rights and so on, through the debates. We will also seek for the solutions that can solve the problems of our society and share our thoughts on them. As the president of BEDC, I'll do my best to lead our club to the success and prosperity.
